I got the Wilbur translation for Tartuffe and The Misanthrope, but I can't find any evidence that he did a translation of The Would-Be Gentleman or The Imaginary Invalid, so I had to use the Donald Frame translation for those. Wilbur does a much better job. I actually haven't read any of Wilbur's own poetry, but he's on my must-read list.
Bulgakov's biographical novel about Molière is really good, too.
Love Moliere! Which translation do you use? It's amazing we have these verse translations from Richard Wilbur, a great poet in his own right.
